Techsacare PTE LTD (“Techsacare,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) develops and operates the Period Tracker Lite mobile application (the “App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App processes, where it is stored, how it is used and shared, how long it is retained, and the choices available to you.

Key privacy summary. The App does not require an account and does not upload cycle or health information to Techsacare servers. Cycle data remains on your device unless you choose to delete it. Health information is not sent to Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, or Google AdMob.

1. Scope and No-Account Use

Period Tracker Lite does not require or offer account creation, login, registration, or a user profile. We do not operate a cloud synchronization or server-backup service for cycle and health information entered in the App. Because no app account is created, there is no account to delete. You can delete locally stored information using the App’s Delete Data control, as described in Section 8.

2. Information Processed

  • Cycle and health information. You may enter period start and end dates, cycle history, symptoms or notes, ovulation estimates, fertility-window estimates, reminder preferences, and related menstrual-cycle information. This information is sensitive health data. It is processed locally on your device to provide the App’s tracking, calculation, history, insight, and reminder functions.
  • Analytics information. Google Analytics for Firebase may automatically process limited app-usage and technical information, such as app opens, screen or feature interactions, app version, device category, operating-system version, general region derived from an IP address, and app-instance or device identifiers. We do not send cycle dates, fertility information, notes, symptoms, or other health data to Analytics.
  • Crash and diagnostic information. Firebase Crashlytics may process crash traces, diagnostic details, device and operating-system information, app version, Firebase installation identifiers, and Crashlytics installation identifiers to identify and fix technical problems. We configure our logging practices so that cycle and health information is not intentionally included in crash reports.
  • Advertising information. Google AdMob may automatically collect or receive an IP address, app and advertisement interactions, diagnostic information, Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device or account identifiers for advertising, analytics, and fraud-prevention purposes. We do not provide cycle or health information to AdMob or use such information for advertising personalization.
  • Support communications. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, screenshots, or attachments. Please do not include cycle or health information unless it is necessary for us to address your request.

3. Permissions and Device Access

  • Notifications. Used to deliver cycle or reminder notifications that you enable. You can deny or revoke notification permission through your device settings. Notification content is generated from information stored locally on the device.
  • Internet or network access. Used by Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, and essential service communications. Internet access is not used to upload your locally stored cycle or health information to Techsacare servers.

The App does not require access to your camera, photos, media, files, precise location, microphone, contacts, or Health Connect for the practices described in this Policy. If a future version adds a new permission or data source, we will update this Policy and provide any disclosure or consent required before using it.

4. How Information Is Used

  • Provide core features. Calculate and display period dates, cycle phases, ovulation and fertile-window estimates, history, notes, and enabled reminders using information stored locally on the device.
  • Maintain and improve the App. Understand general app use, evaluate reliability, diagnose crashes, fix errors, and improve performance without sending cycle or health information to analytics or diagnostic services.
  • Provide and protect advertising. Display and measure advertisements and detect invalid traffic or abuse through Google AdMob. Cycle and health information is not used for advertising.
  • Provide support and meet obligations. Respond to support inquiries, protect the App and its users, investigate security incidents, and comply with applicable legal requirements.

5. Local Storage and No Cloud Synchronization

Cycle and health information is stored only in the App’s local storage on your device. Techsacare does not receive, store, synchronize, or maintain server backups of this information. Calculations and estimates based on the information you enter are performed for the App’s local functions.

Deleting information through the in-app Delete Data control removes the selected cycle and health information from the App’s local storage. Clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App also generally removes locally stored App information, subject to Android behavior and any device-level backup or restore settings controlled by you or your device provider. Techsacare does not control device-level backups.

6. Sharing and Third-Party Services

We do not sell or rent cycle or health information. We do not share cycle dates, fertility information, symptoms, notes, or other health data with Google Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, Google AdMob, advertisers, or other third parties. Limited technical information may be processed as follows:

  • Google Analytics for Firebase. Processes limited usage and technical information to help us understand App performance and general feature use.
  • Firebase Crashlytics. Processes crash, diagnostic, and installation information to help us identify and resolve technical problems.
  • Google AdMob. Processes advertising, device, interaction, and diagnostic information to deliver and measure ads and prevent fraud. AdMob may share information with Google and advertising partners under Google’s applicable terms and privacy practices.
  • Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose information that we hold when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse, or establish and defend legal claims. Because Techsacare does not receive cycle and health information, we cannot disclose information that remains only on your device.

Google handles information under its own privacy practices. Review the Google Privacy Policy, Firebase Privacy and Security information, and Google Mobile Ads data disclosure.

7. Data Retention

  • Cycle and health information. Retained only on your device until you delete it using the App’s Delete Data control, clear the App’s storage, or uninstall the App, subject to Android behavior and any device-level backup settings. Techsacare has no server copy and no server-retention period for this information.
  • Analytics information. Google Analytics user-level and event-level information is retained for the period configured for our Analytics property. Standard Google Analytics properties permit a retention setting of 2 or 14 months; we do not configure a period longer than 14 months. The retention period may restart after new activity if that Analytics setting is enabled. Aggregated or de-identified reports that no longer identify an app installation may be retained longer.
  • Crash and diagnostic information. Firebase Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated installation identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems, according to Firebase’s published service information. Temporarily processed minidump information is discarded after processing.
  • Advertising information. Techsacare does not independently maintain a copy of information collected directly by Google AdMob. Google retains and deletes that information for periods that vary by data type, purpose, service configuration, user controls, and legal requirements, as explained in Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Support communications. Retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain appropriate support or security records, comply with law, or establish and defend legal claims. We delete or de-identify the information when those purposes end. You may request earlier deletion unless retention is legally required.

8. Deletion and Your Choices

  • Delete cycle and health information. Use the in-app Delete Data option to remove the locally stored information controlled by the App. This deletion is immediate on the device when the App completes the action.
  • Clear storage or uninstall. You may clear the App’s storage or uninstall the App through Android settings. Device-level backup copies, if any, are controlled through your Android or Google backup settings rather than by Techsacare.
  • Control notifications. Disable notifications in the App, where available, or through Android settings.
  • Control advertising identifiers and choices. Reset or delete the Android advertising ID and manage advertising choices through applicable Android and Google settings. Where legally required, the App or Google’s consent tools will request consent for advertising or analytics processing.
  • Request support-data deletion. Contact us using the email in Section 15 to request deletion of information you voluntarily provided in a support communication. We may retain limited information where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Because the App does not create an account, Google Play’s app-account deletion requirement does not apply. The in-app Delete Data option controls locally stored cycle and health information.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information handled by or on behalf of the App. Keeping cycle and health information on the device limits its transmission and server exposure. Information transmitted by Google SDKs is protected in transit using industry-standard encryption supported by those services. Access to Techsacare-controlled analytics and crash dashboards is restricted to authorized personnel with a business need.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including using screen locks, installing operating-system updates, and controlling device backups. No device, storage method, or transmission method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Processing

Google and its service providers may process limited analytics, diagnostic, and advertising information in countries other than the country where you live. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms, privacy policies, and international data-transfer safeguards. Cycle and health information remains on your device and is not transferred by Techsacare.

11. Children’s Privacy

Period Tracker Lite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us through a support communication, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate. Parents and guardians should supervise use of the App by minors and consider local age-of-consent requirements.

12. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information processed through Analytics, Crashlytics, AdMob, or support communications, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability. Contact us to exercise an applicable right. We may request limited information needed to verify and fulfill the request. For information controlled by Google, you may also use Google’s privacy and advertising controls.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the App, our practices, third-party services, or legal and policy requirements. We will publish the updated Policy at a publicly accessible URL and update the effective or last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change takes effect.

14. Educational and Medical Disclaimer

The App provides informational content and estimates relating to menstrual cycles, cycle phases, period dates, ovulation, fertile windows, and general reproductive-health topics. Estimates are generated from user-entered information and standard calculation methods. Individual cycles vary, and estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate.

Period Tracker Lite does not diagnose, treat, cure, prevent, prescribe, recommend, or promote any disease, condition, medication, test, contraceptive method, or medical intervention. The App is not a medical device and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, testing, or treatment. Do not rely on the App for contraception, conception, pregnancy decisions, or emergency care. Consult a qualified healthcare professional about menstrual-health, fertility, pregnancy, or other health concerns.
